for the glory of the lord

i can't imagine and can't figure it out if someday in my future i told my self "..i will never do singing again...!!" by the way, sunday Jan 9th 2005 was my first singing practice in the year of 2005. took place in ignatius-loyola church - jalan malang, i did my first choir rehearsal with my friends in cantiamo corale. my friend, yanti started our rehearsal with a nice prayer, that remind me and all of us to keep our commitment, to do singing to glorify the Lord through others. retha also give us a powerfull vocalizing for bringing back our voice that was 'voiceless' during the x'mas and new year holiday for almost 3 weeks. the last vocalizing material was taken from a christian song titled "Alleluya,Puji Tuhan.."

for an almost 120-minutes-rehearsal,we learned 2 songs composed by G.F.Handel, and taken from the Messiah series. They are "worthy is the lamb" and "and the glory of the lord". we are planning to prepare those songs for our easter mass service on this year.

Even we haven't mastered the songs yet, at least we've known the melody. it's very challanging us to learn new songs in the new spirit of new year..!thanks god i had known those songs before, bcoz i've learned them first from magnificat choir, so that i could help another altos to read the note. a nice part from "and the glory.." is...

and the glory, the glory of the lord shall be revealed..,shall be revealed...!!!

thank you lord for starting my first choir rehearsal through knowing you from every piece of the song that i sing. blessed are all the songs aimed to glorify your name! amen
